This is an incredibly special hand-painted oyster shell brooch, possibly pre-dating the 20th Century, picturing a young brunette woman wearing a beautiful red gown. A totally unique item that has clearly been cherished for years. Someone at a later date has added the addition of a pin on the reverse, making this a wearable brooch!
